Grindstone is my own bootstrapped passion project. This was a 0-1 build. Everything was built from scratch by myself and my co-founder.
The first step in this process was validating the idea. To do that we built a website based on concept and ran Facebook ads to drive traffic to the site.
Do people even want this? Will they signup for the waitlist? What was the result?

I built everything. logo, site, and northstar vision for Grindstone. And then ran ads for 60 days.
- The Facebook ads had a 2.86% click though rate(.90% is standard) - Of those 882 who clicked, 23% signed up for the waitlist. (amazing) - 203 users signed up total. - Our total ad spend was $538.81
Which brings our cost for each waitlist signup to only $2.65
